Movie Events

We’ve scheduled our next movie event for Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 4 pm. We’ll be watching the VeggieTales version of Pinocchio, titled “Pistachio.”

VeggieTales provides the following description:

Once upon a time in the small Italian town of Bologna-Salami, there lived a lonely toymaker named Gelato and his assistant Cricket. Gelato had no children he could call his own, so one day he decide to carve a little boy out of wood. His name is Pistachio!

Young Pistachio gets involved with some slippery characters. His bad choices and disobedience towards Gelato lead to some sticky situations.

Will Pistachio learn that obeying the wisdom of a loving father will help him find what he really needs and could be the key to saving his whole family? Find out in this new adventure with a lesson about the importance of family and obeying your parents.

We’ll have movie style popcorn and drinks. We’ll have coloring sheets for those who arrive early or want to stay late. This is a free event, everyone is invited, and you’re encouraged to bring friends. Feel free to bring sleeping bags, camp chairs, and whatever else you need to get comfortable.
